The Rockefeller Snowflake
Review
An enchanting and captivating read. The Rockefeller Snowflake leaves us all thinking.
A beautiful book with a positive message for any child (or adult) that struggles with anxiety, self esteem, confidence or poor body image to name but a few.
Every Christmas, Ria sneaks out to her favourite place in New York City: the Rockefeller Centre, where the Rockefeller Angels stand. She loves these angel statues, and she loves how they make her feel: happy. If only she felt happy the rest of the year!
One morning, Ria finds a magical snowflake and gets transported into a wondrous place called the Kingdom of Snow. Now she must embark on a spectacular journey of self-discovery as she travels to the City of Gleaming Spires, making new friends along the way: Brewiss the butterfly, Preston the wolf, Finney an Invincible polar bear. When she gets to the city, Ria not only meets Faith, the Queen of Angels, but she also discovers she’s been chosen for a very special mission...
Will Ria complete her mission before Christmas? Or will she run out of time? And, more importantly, will she finally find the happiness she deserves?
